Talon 20

The Talon 20 is Giant's trail-ready 20" bike for kids stepping up from a balance or single-speed bike, built for riders in roughly the 3'8" to 4'5" range. The ALUXX aluminum frame keeps a low standover height and bottom bracket so young riders stay in control at low speed, while the Giant Custom 30mm-travel fork takes the edge off roots and washboard trail without adding bulk. A 25mm-diameter kid-specific handlebar, short-reach junior brake levers, and 130mm cranks are sized for smaller hands and legs rather than shrunk-down adult parts.

Shimano's REVOSHIFT twist shifter runs a 1x7 drivetrain (14-34t) through a Tourney rear derailleur, giving enough range for neighborhood streets and easier singletrack climbs without overwhelming a new rider with gear choices. Alloy linear-pull brakes with junior-sized levers keep stopping power easy to modulate for smaller hands, and Giant Junior Sport 20x1.95" tires strike a balance between rolling speed on pavement and grip on hardpack trail.

Every Talon 20 comes with a kickstand, mini-fender, bell, and stem pad, so it's ready for the driveway and the trailhead alike.
