RD-M8100 Rear Derailleur XT 12s SGS

The Deore XT RD-M8100-SGS brings SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology to a wide-range 12-speed drivetrain, keeping the derailleur low-profile and stable when the trail gets rough. A new Bump Stopper bumper absorbs impacts between the B-link and the B-tension screw, quieting chain slap on rowdy descents, while bigger 13T pulleys improve chain wrap and shifting efficiency over the outgoing generation.

Decreased tension in the low-gear position keeps the drivetrain quiet across the full range, and the long SGS cage is built to run Shimano's 12-speed cassettes up to a 51T low gear — plenty of range for grinding up anything the trails can throw at you.
