How it works

  1. Drop off at either shop during opening hours. No appointment needed for tunes and waxes.
  2. Tell us how you ski. We'll ask where you ride and what your skis or board are doing, and suggest the right tune. We call before doing anything that costs more than you asked for.
  3. Pick up. Ask at the counter for current turnaround. It gets longer once the hill opens, so come in early.
  4. Binding work needs your boots with the skis, plus your height, weight, age and ski ability so we can set release values.

FAQ

How often should I tune my skis?

Get a full tune at the start of the season, then a hot wax every 4–6 ski days. Get the edges done again after a rocky day or when they stop holding on hardpack.

Which tune do I need?

If your skis were tuned last season and just feel slow or skid on hardpack, a Slider's Tune is enough. If the bases are scratched or the skis haven't been tuned in a while, get a Skookum Tune. If there are gouges in the base, get a You Betcha Tune.

Do you tune snowboards?

Yes. Ask at the shop for board pricing.

Can you mount bindings I bought somewhere else?

Yes. Bring the skis, bindings and boots together. If the skis have old holes, the remount price includes plugging them.

Do you wax Nordic skis?

Yes: classic and skate glide wax, and skin skis like the Fischer Twin Skin. Ask about grip wax for your trails.

Do I need to book?

Not for tunes and waxes: just drop them off. Call ahead for boot work and fittings.
