The Tempt 20 is Liv's dedicated 20" kids' bike, built one size for riders roughly 6-8 years old (approximately 118-138cm / 3'10"-4'6"). It's an ALUXX-grade aluminum hardtail with a 30mm-travel suspension fork up front, so it takes the edge off curbs, roots, and washboard gravel without adding much weight. A low-standover frame and a lowered bottom bracket keep the center of gravity down, which makes mounting, dismounting, and general confidence a lot easier for a young rider still building balance and bike handling skills.

Components are properly kid-scaled rather than shrunk-down adult parts: a narrower 31.8mm tapered handlebar, short-reach junior brake levers on alloy linear-pull (V-brake) brakes, and 130mm cranks to cut down on pedal strikes through corners. Shifting is a simple, forgiving Shimano Revoshift twist-shift 1x7 setup with a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur and a 14-34T freewheel — wide enough range for neighbourhood rides and local singletrack, with nothing to fuss over. A kickstand, mini-fender, bell, and rear derailleur guard round out the practical, ready-to-ride package.

This is a great next step for a kid who's outgrown a 16" bike and is ready for real trail miles, whether that's the greenway through town or the lower Revelstoke and Salmon Arm singletrack with mom or dad. In Virtual Pink, priced to be an easy yes for a growing rider.
