Topeak's Explorer 29'er rear rack is purpose-built for 29-inch mountain bikes running disc brakes — a fit that trips up universal racks that clash with rotors or calipers. The frame is 6061 T-6 hollow aluminum tubing paired with a matching aluminum mounting bracket, giving it real rigidity under a loaded pannier or trunk bag rather than the flex you get from stamped steel.
It's rated to carry 26 kg and bolts to standard braze-on mounts. The integrated top plate is QuickTrack compatible, so any Topeak MTX TrunkBag or rear basket clicks on and off without extra hardware. A built-in solid fender top and mounting points for Topeak's RedLite and tail light round it out — everything you need for commuting, errands, or classic loaded touring is already on the rack.
