Canada is a beautiful and rugged country, and Skookum is lucky enough to have 2 locations nestled in the Columbia-Shuswap, sitting just west of the Rockies. With amazing trails and ski resorts just a stones throw away, it's the perfect location to test gear and see what products earn the "Skookum" badge. Designed and manufactured in Northern Quebec, Devinci produces more purely Canadian bike frames than any other brand. They believe in their Canadian made products enough to offer a lifetime warranty.

 

Orage got its start in 1989 as the brainchild of Evelyn Trempe a business student at the University of Quebec. 25 years later they are still headquartered in Montreal and run by passionate skiers, designers and innovators.

"Fighting to keep it local" is We Are One's goal. Not only do they design and manufacture everything in Kamloops, they also try their best to source all the materials within a 100 mile radius.

 

Race Face is another iconic brand born on the North Shore. While they may have been bought by Easton, they still do all their design in Burnaby and product testing on those same trails they've been riding since 1993.

 

Created in the "Godfather of Freeride" Wade Simmons' Garage, Godfarther's Garage is a range of bike care products that are manufactured right here in Canada.

Certain other products we carry may not be designed and/or produced in Canada. Take the ski industry for example, almost all ski products are designed and built in Europe. What can we say, the Euros just have skis figured out. The good news is these skis are distributed by Canadian companies that keep people employed in our communities.

The same can be said for the American products we do carry. Flylow is a great example of a brand started by a couple passionate outdoor enthusiasts at Mt. Baker. They focus on making exceptional, sustainable and durable gear. Plus they have a Canadian distributor meaning no tariffs. We have lots of stock, still at great prices.
