Here at Skookum technicians are certified, well trained and excited to help you with any problem you may have. Whether it's mounting up our new fancy skis or patching the base of your most treasured set of 90's classics they are always ready to help you get back to the mountains and to do the sports we all love. We offer Ski Mounting, Board Mounting and XC Ski Mounting. We also offer an extensive range of tuning option for all disciplines laid out bellow.

Ski Shop Services

Hot Wax | $24

Waxed by hand with temperature specific wax and then hand brushed.

Edge Sharpening | $24

Sharpened base and side edged and detuned tips and tails.

Base Grind | $30

Base is ground to remove blemishes in the base and flatten the base out. Finished with a stone grind.

Binding Adjust | $20

Set forward pressure, ensure proper din setting and test binding elasticity.

XC Binding Mount | $30

Screw in bindings or mounting IFP plates.

Alpine/Touring Binding Mount | $50

Brand new ski with no holes and any binding.

Alpine/Touring Binding Remount | Starting at $60

If the ski has any holes we have to work around or when transferring binding from another ski.

Binding Inserts | $10/insert

Improved binding retention with Quiver Killer's 303 stainless steel threaded inserts. Price includes the insert, M5 screw and labour to install.

Ski Mounting Information

Our technicians are certified and have the jigs to mount the following ski brands; - Marker - Salomon/Armada/Atomic - G3 - Dynafit - Knee - Tyrollia - Look - Rossignol -

All our technicians are certified to mount a plethora of ski bindings. Whether you're bringing them a new ski and new binding or a binding in a Save On plastic bag and a ski that's already been drilled twice we are ready to help. When you bring skis to be mounted you will need to bring 1 Boot and the skis and the bindings you need mounting. We'll also need to know the height, weight, age and skier type of the skier. For under age skiers, a parent or guardian will be need to sign off on the DIN setting when the skis are picked up. We try to get all work done overnight. Please feel free to call ahead or pop into the store to discuss any mounting questions you may have and we will be happy to help.

Boot Fitting

Your boots are the most important piece of ski gear you will own and taking the time to fit them properly will change your skiing experience! Our boot fitters are trained to make sure you get the most comfort and performance out of your current or new boots.

FREE ASSESSMENT Come in for a free assessment of your foot shape and kinematics and we will get you in the perfect boot for your ability and intended use or make recommendations for your current boots. FIT GUARANTEE We offer an extensive fit guarantee on your boot purchase. Buy a boot and a custom footbed with us and we guarantee the fit of the boot for the rest of the season. All tweaks and modifications are on the house, and if we can't make it work, we will take it back!
