Taggert MIPS

Giro built the Taggert around In-Mold Construction, fusing a tough polycarbonate outer shell directly to the impact-absorbing foam liner beneath it. A MIPS system sits between the foam liner and an elastomeric attachment layer, which stretches during an angled impact to let the liner rotate slightly and cut down on the rotational forces that reach your head.

The In Form 2 Fit System dials in a custom fit in seconds, even with gloves on, offering up to six centimeters of adjustment from a lighter, lower-profile dial than earlier Giro helmets. A Passive Aggressive Venting System manages airflow automatically as you move, so temperature regulation happens without you reaching up to fiddle with vent sliders mid-run.
