The Wakayama is Hestra's retro-inspired mitt for anyone who runs cold on the hill. Impregnated cowhide handles the outside weather while a recycled PrimaLoft Gold liner and a separate microfleece lining stack real warmth for the coldest chairlift days, backed by a removable wool terry liner for an extra layer when you need it.
A paracord-adjustable wrist with a neoprene cuff seals out spindrift, and an included wrist strap means a dropped mitt on the chair doesn't become a lost mitt. It trades some dexterity for warmth, so it's better suited to lift-served days than technical terrain where you need a precise grip.
