Scout 3X Headlamp

The Scout 3X is Silva's lightweight, all-rounder headlamp for hiking, camping, and everyday outdoor use. Silva's Intelligent Light technology blends a long-reach spot beam with a wide flood beam in one unit, which cuts down on head movement since you're not tilting to find the right throw for near versus far objects. On its high setting it puts out 300 lumens for around 5.5 to 6 hours, or drops to 50 lumens for a 32-hour low mode. Hybrid battery compatibility means it runs on 3 AAA batteries in a pinch or an optional rechargeable pack for regular use, and a red light mode preserves night vision around camp. At 84 grams with battery installed, it's light enough to forget you're wearing it, and an IPX5 rating handles rain without complaint. A battery-level indicator and a wide, anti-slip headband round out a headlamp built for long days.
